Page Swift Award
The Page Swift Award was established last year in honor of
Page Swift. The award is given specifically to a deserving vocalist
age 18 and younger.. At the Singing
Festival Winners’ Concert, participating students will be evaluated by
SFBAC Member Teachers to identify winners of the Page Swift Award.
Kathryn Harvey Award
The Kathryn Harvey Award was established last year in honor of
Kathryn Harvey. The award is given specifically to a deserving vocalist
between the age of 19-24. At the Singing
Festival Winners’ Concert, participating students will be evaluated by
SFBAC Member Teachers to identify winners of the Kathryn Harvey Award.
Edwin Barlow Scholarship and Emerging Artist Award
The Barlow Scholarship was established in 1995 as a tribute to
Edwin Barlow, a local teacher, performer and NATS member who died in
1994. At the Singing Festival Winners’ Concert, participating students
25 years and older will be evaluated by SFBAC Member Teachers to identify winners of the
Edwin Barlow Award.
Eleanor Cohen Award
The Eleanor Cohen Award was established in honor of
Eleanor Cohen. The award is given specifically to a deserving vocalist
who began studying voice on or after the age of 35. At the Singing
Festival Winners’ Concert, participating students will be evaluated by
SFBAC Member Teachers to identify winners of the Eleanor Cohen Award.
